They have too many on/off/volume things going on and very cheaply made. Had to use Amex to get refund since Best Buy is such a pain about out returning broken items.

Insignia Proves Me Wrong - For The Better

I read some former reviews before purchasing and saw a lot of positive feedback. Well I can tell you that for the price and appearance, these speakers and sub rock! Only limitation I've noticed is the bass and treble are real good but the mid-range suffers a bit. However this is not hi fidelity equipment nor should it be if you want to save some good money. Overall I'm VERY pleased and the installation was so simple and quick I could have been blindfolded and installed it. Would have given it 5 stars if the mid-range was better. I'm sure there are some sound EQ settings to boost the mid-range. I will just have to play around with that.
