Wow. Lots of wires. Also the sound is terrible. Returned.

Before I purchased this Insignia speaker system I had gone to several different stores and looked at different styles and brands of speakers and wasn't very happy with any of them, but when I went to my local Best Buy store I was able to try out all the multimedia/computer speakers that were on display. When I listened to the Insignia set I was blown away, The highs and the lows are spot on. I use these for just about everything, Mp3, Gaming, computer, T.V., and so can you, you can also connect these to a home stereo system, via the headphone jack input. I love the control pod for the bass and volume. like some of the other review's say, they should be broke in a little. And yes in my opinion they do sound better than the Logitech Brand at half the price. They are also very easy to setup and use. ENJOY

While there may be some audiophiles out there who would disagree with me, these are amazing speakers for your computer system. I love music. I am picky about sound quality. These speakers work great, setup easily and easily compete with speakers 3x the price. At ~$35, you just can't buy a better sounding set of speakers.

These speakers are great! The sound quality is excellent, set up was easy and they work perfectly. Plus having the control pod makes it easy to switch from headphones to speakers quickly and easily.

This speaker setup is great! I do like that it comes with its own volume control, which is incredibly convenient if you are playing music and someone walks into your room and need to be able to adjust accordingly. Only problem that I have experienced is that the speaker sounds seems to fluctuate if the subwoofer is bumped, Could be just a bad cord or loose connection. Not sure if i'm going to exchange yet or not. But for the price I can't complain to much.

Just finished installing these speakers on my PC. Love them!! They are perfect for what I need them and the price was excellent... easy to install. The sound is AMAZING!

It's actually a nice sound system for the price. I listening to a lot of music and it has great base and the sound is very impressive.

Sound is clear and Bass hits hard. No lag over bluetooth at all. Bought to replace a 5.1 Logitech system that wore out and these provide better sound quality then my old $160 system.

Thanks to the guys at the NYC Union Square store for recommending this to me. I'm very happy with them so far. Small set up and robust sound. Really like the volume control that sits separately on my desktop.

If you are looking for cheaper speakers with good sound and extras,just buy it.You wont be disappointed. Specially the control dial with head phone jack and bass control with an aux input.Great in one word.

These speakers sound good and look good. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a decent set of computer speakers.

Very good sound quality. I have been very impressed with these speakers. For 40 dollars, these speakers sound just as good as 100 dollar speakers. The 5.1 speakers that were on display did not sound as good as these 2.1 by Insignia or the Logitech 2.1 speakers. I thought the Insignia sounded just a notch better than the Logitech which were my second choice. For a 100 dollars, the Bose speakers would have been the speakers I would have bought, but for under 100 dollars, the Insignia speakers were the best in my opinion.

I read a majority of the reviews before purchasing this product. I thought I was making a good purchase. Everyone said how good it was with sound, but this has no bass to me. Not at the level I was expecting from everyone's reviews. My other Insignia speakers had more bass than this but it was an older speaker system (that I originally bought from Best Buy), the wire coming from the speakers to connect to laptop was somehow damaged (by pulling the cord out of laptop too many times) and the speakers would go in and out, it was at a point, no matter how I turned the cord, I just couldn't get the speakers to stay on). I loved those speakers. I thought purchasing another set of Insignia speakers wouldn't have disappointed me. Don't get me wrong, they work (as far as volume getting loud) but as for the bass option to turn it up or low, it doesn't make a big difference, especially when wearing headphones, (there is no difference at all). I did good with price and free shipping but these set of speakers did not meet up to my expectations. I would still recommend it, but to children, who don't need extra bass, because wearing headphones using the volume control (middle connector) doesn't make a difference which is disappointing.

I bought these to replace a Logitech computer speaker system that did not have any bass adjustment and honestly i was not happy at all. my games and music did not sound right. I returned that product and bought this one instead and it DOES have a bass adjuster and the sound appeared much richer then the last speakers i bought. for the price i am very happy with these and have no complaints at all so far.

I purchased these to get away from the pingyness of my laptop speakers. Excelant speakers for easy listening or netflix. Only 27 watts so the base doesn't sound great with dance music. Don't expect to entertain with these. I purchased this over the logitec z533 because I didn't notice a difference in sound in store.

I was skeptical of how this system would work given the low price, but was pleasantly surprised. Absolutely love the wired controller for it. It wont shake pictures off your wall but it is very loud and clear. My coworkers will tell you the same. Would buy again, and strongly recommend.

Great for the price. I use them on a small TV for the bedroom. Huge improvement over internal speakers.

I had BOSE computer speakers before and they sounded really good, but didnt want to spend that kind of money this time around, and saw these online, and all the great reviews, and desided for $40, why not?, glad i got them, they sound great, well made, very impressed!!!
