Great product. Honestly for the price it’s fantastic.

After going through close to 3 pairs of speakers I realized that they were all junk. Some had sub woofers and all had a volume dial; eventually one side would go out and the scratchy sound would start coming out. Well so far this has been great and it has a mouse like volume control that really makes this much easier since many videos are recorded at different audio levels requiring to turn up or down. With the mouse like control it is closer to the user and is effortless to adjust the volume if desired....great buy....sounds good as well...

This is my second purchase of this insignia computer speakers.

I didn't expect much from a $25-30 speaker but this set really impressed me. The set up was super easy, I loved how you have the little control hub that you can set right on your desk to control the volumes and plug in headset if necessary. The subwoofer really made a huge difference and offered so much depth to the sound. Of course, compared to the $200-300 speakers, there is a bit more "noise" to the sound, but unless you are an audiophile like me, you won't be able to hear it. This is a perfect speaker set for every day use, whether it'd be listening to music, watching movies, gaming, etc. Worth every penny.

This was probably the best decision i've taken in 2016, this speakers are loud and the bass is excellent, also got em this past weekend(10/30/16) for 35 dllrs, great deal and great quality! can't beat. If these speakers were running for president, i'd vote for them, make your music great again!

I only gave this five stars because they wouldn't let me give it six. This is easily the best $40 I have ever spent. I've had the speakers for about six months now and I'm still loving them. Great sound and very load. I love that you can easily adjust the base on the wired remote. Some songs just need a bit more or a little less bass.

This is a decent system and met most of my needs when I bought it. It did have one side go out 6 months in and had to replace. I was fairly happy with it up to that point though. Pros: Priced @ $39.99 it's one of the better sounding systems with Sub ; Controller is easy to use. ; Sounds good ; I didn't get to use it much but I really liked the feature of aux jack on controller to plug in something else to use the speakers. It would override the computer sound. I plugged in my phone for music sometimes when I was charging. Great little feature if you can find a use for it. Cons: Wires could be a better length. The desktop speaker cord is a lot shorter than I would have expected considering it plugs into the sub. This caused me some issues in placement and had to rearrange a lot until I could find what worked. Sadly what worked was not best for sound and convenience for me. Since I had to return it for the one side dropping out I decided to try a different system. I would recommend giving it a try, it's not perfect by any means, but it is a nice system for the price if you can overlook the small issues. I am assuming I had a defective one and that it is not the norm, unless others say similar issues you should not worry about it.

Can't deny that for 30 bucks they put out solid sound. But my subwoofer just died out of nowhere 2 months in. Thankfully still have the packaging and receipt. Hold onto yours in case the same thing happens for you.

I made this purchase for my 15 year old son. He did the research on the product and I made the purchase. He is really happy with his speakers and they sound great. Thank you! I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for speakers and subwoofers.

After reading the "rave" reviews on bestbuy.com I decided to give these a shot. I wish the store in Avon, IN had a pair on display so I could listen to them first. I used these for a whole 30 sec trying different types of music and equalization then decided to return them. The subwoofer is not properly filtered so too much midbass is coming through. Turning down the bass ends up transforming the setup into a louder laptop speaker sound. I'll give an extra star for having the dial control which is nice to have (and a selling point to me when looking at the other options). Another lesson learned, you get what you pay for.

The speakers are exactly what I was looking for - compact, good sound, and not expensive. Excellent value.

I bought these speakers as a birthday present for myself in February 2017. While for the most part they've done the job fairly well, the satellite speakers are beginning to fail about a year and a half later. Most of the sound ends up being directed to the subwoofer unless I fidget around with the grey plug on the back, and it usually takes me multiple tries to get the sound back in order, only for it to get messed up again shortly afterwards.. It's a real pain in the neck to put up with, and in the past couple of weeks I've often had to do it multiple times in one day. I've ordered a set of Logitech Z313s to replace these. Never again will I buy Insignia speakers.

These were nice looking speakers. Sound wasnt bad although the bass was almost nonexistent. But theres a reason its so affordable. These should be purchased as temporary speakers til you get better ones or not be purchased at all. These speakers lasted about 2 weeks. 2 weeks for $20. Stick to TVs, Insignia.

Good sound for the money. Not the best ever but it works for the price.
