Provides some lip protection so the screen doesn’t break if you drop your phone on the front. Not otter box. Not gonna save you if you drop your phone off a bridge.

Got this as an upgrade for my kiddo (15) as an upgrade to the SE. Seems a bit more reliable, much larger screen (welcome to the 21st century) and battery life is much longer. I don't know much about iPhones, but she loves it!

I purchased this for my teenage daughter, so far it does protect the phone but you can see every smudge, finger print and scratch on the phone. Quality is just ok

I had the clear one from the Apple store, which cost around $40 bucks, and this case is wayyyyy better. Feels comfortable and very sturdy.
