I recently bought this with the Xbox One Insignia charge station. I figured I would need an extra battery. Placed the controller on the charger, directions stated between 3 - 3.5 hours full charge. After 5 hours, it was fully charged. Picked controller up, played about 6 hours and battery went dead. Put another battery in, charged all night, played 8-10 hours and battery went dead. If your going to buy this, please make sure you have other batteries and controllers charged for continuous play. Rated 3 cause it took longer to charge 1 controller, didn't hold battery life like it said it would and had to change twice and 1 more time with the Charge and Play kit as well as the headset layout.

Bought this to go with the insignia charging dock that attaches to the side of the console and it works perfectly with it.

This was given as a gift, and I have not heard any issues or problems.

This battery lasts just as long as the OEM Xbox battery, but is a lot cheaper. That makes it a win in my book.

Took me five minutes to maneuver the battery cover back onto the controller. I guess you don't need the not included battery cover with window from insignia, but it feels like the original cover will break every time I attempt to take it off. Any of the reviews telling you to flip it around are out of their mind because it is literally impossible to make it fit that way and is also probably just asking for something to go wrong if you do manage due to the polarization of the controller. You definitely get what you pay for with this and I would probably just suggest to spend the extra money on the official rechargeable battery as you won't have any issues with it like this one. Also reading the other reviews has made me question the safety of charging this thing.

I need another battery for backup. It is easy to use. It take long time to recharge.

The battery is fine. But this doesn't include a battery cover in the box! You need a special battery cover that exposes the contacts for the charging station. Plus, you cannot use the original cover because it won't fit over the charging contacts of this battery. The Insignia dual controller charging station includes two of these covers, but that doesn't satisfy when you have more than two controllers. Truly a questionable decision to omit the battery cover. One should be included with every battery pack.

The thing works perfect. It doesn't matter that it's not Microsoft brand it works just as well. Great price for a great item that can become very useful especially if you don't want to buy batteries all the time.

I was a little skeptical about an off brand battery, but I've had no issues and they hold a charge for a very long time.

Would be nice if the product description stated that this battery pack requires the Insignia charging base. It will not charge with a USB cable plugged into the controller. I returned it.

This product is perfect for extended game playing.

It wont charge while in the controller and connected with usb. You NEED the separate charging station that has to be plugged into the side of the xbox.

This battery is so reliable, and is better than other brands out there. Warranty is so cheap. This Battery is a steal. Would recommend getting this battery. Would say is better than the Xbox OEM version better!

Rechargeable batteries are better for the controller. You don't have to replace them, just recharge and play.

This is almost necessary for a second controller owner

I purchased this with caution after reading reviews but wanted to save money. it was a mistake. battery doesn't tell you that its charging, its a super tight fit, I had trouble putting it in and my controller just shuts off randomly when it wants in the middle of gameplay. just spend the extra money and get the better battery.

Will not charge with controller usb, u need the insignia charge hub, waste of money!!! returned!!!!!
