Customers are saying
Customers have good things to say about the Netflix functionality, noting its seamless integration with other services and its ability to play DVDs. Users appreciate the ease of streaming and the overall performance of the device for both DVD playback and online content. While one user mentioned some minor challenges with on-screen text readability from USB devices, the positive feedback regarding Netflix and DVD playback outweighs this concern. The device appears to be well-regarded for its media streaming capabilities.

Great Value for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this refurbished Insignia WiFi Blu-Ray player! So far, it's handled every video format file I've thrown at it via USB stick, and the Netflix streaming is easier to run than on my Wii. The only minor drawback is that the text for video files on USB sticks isn't always easy to read (but, in fairness, there may be a menu option I could toggle, but I haven't stumbled across it yet). Unit looked brand new out of the box. I haven't seen any wear or tear. I actually came back to this page to order another one, since free shipping is now available.

Great Blu-Ray Player For The Money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this Blu-Ray player for my new Samsung LCD TV and I hooked it up with the Insignia HDMI cable that was on sale for $29. The picture is awesome which is to be expected because all Blu-Ray player output the same 1080p video through the HDMI cable. We run Pandora Radio through the WiFi connection for hours and haven't had any problems. We've watched several DVDs and a few Blu-Rays with great results. No major problems but we did get the Black Tie plan so in case anything does happen down the road. Impressed with this Blu-Ray player for the price. Can't go wrong.

Not as expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit was purchased mainly for Netflix access. It works ok but the interface is not as easy to use as a later model I have and the software does not seem to be upgradeable.

Good buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price of this unit it has worked great. It logs on to our router and streams netflix great. I haven't had a single problem with this unit. Dvd's Play great too. It was pretty easy to set up. I did buy a digital audio out cord so I could play it through my existing suround system for good sound quality.

it worked but didnt work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i bought this as a christmas gift for some family. upon hooking it up christmas day i found i could not setup netflix because the button wasnt working on the remote. so we then tried playing a bluray we got from redbox, nothing but a loop of the menu. remote was not working, changing batteries made zero difference. the controls on the player do not help navigate at all. im sure it was a nice player but i found no info about universals so i went with the return. i had to wait in line first thing on the 26th for an exchange. i guess i was one of the nicer customers(2 in front of me being straight jerks to customer service) because the clerk exchanged me for a brand new NS-WBRDVD2 which was pretty much a christmas miracle.

Good player for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a player that connected to Netflix. At first I couldn't connect that well, but my router was on the other side of the house. IT's a G router. So I would get a week signal. Once I changed the position of my router, I had no issues. Then I upgraded my router to N, and had even better playback. It plays Nextlix great. Blu-ray movies play just fine, but I really haven't played many. I primarily use it for Netflix. The price for this wireless player is hard to beat.

Insignia Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Disc Player
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this blu-ray instore for my wife and daughters to watch netflix and youtube. It was very easy to set up and have not had any problems so far. It works great with Uverse and streams very well and it has pandora and a couple of others to stream from. I love it and the fact its built by Samsung for Best Buy is a bonus. Great product for the price!

Taking a BIG Chance!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After ordering this player online, I was excited to find that it arrived in a couple of days; however, when I went to set up the player, it would not receive IR signal from the remote. I called the number on my packing slip and spoke with a Best Buy rep who told me that there was nothing Best Buy could do since it was refurbished. I was encouraged to contact Insignia even though I had just taken it out of the box from Best Buy. Fortunately, my local store was more than willing to make an exchange. Hooray for my LOCAL Best Buy! I know. You get what you pay for!

Great Blu-ray player for the price and easy to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought the Blu-ray player as a Christmas gift for our Parents. The set-up and easy to use player made it the ideal present. The Wi-Fi built-in for the Net-Flix apps also made up our minds. They could not be more happier about the player.

Not good!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased on 2/24/2011, unit worked well till 3/29/11. The HDMI cable must be removed and reseated to obtain a clear picture constantly. It appears to have no locking mechanism for the HDMI cable to stay seated! Return period is 30 days!

DO NOT BUY IT....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Insignia is owned by bestbuy... I guess they didn't do the quality control. I bought it new 13 months ago... and it's not working now... at this rate, I will have to buy this DVD player every year....

Worst DVD Player Ever!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It completely stopped working within an hour of me setting it up. I set it up and everything was fine, and when I was playing something to test it out, it powered off and wouldn't ever come back on. I would never recommend this player, or company as a matter of fact, to anyone.
