    It seems like these filters go bad way too often. I just replaced one 3 months ago. At this rate, it's going to cost me 4240 a year in filters.

    It is pretty sad Best Buy / Insignia has discontinued replacement filters for their own branded machine.... At the very least they could offer a buy back / partial credit for a trade in that we could use to purchase a new Air Purifier.

    this is why Heald off buying an air purifier just for this reason I heard about that after a while they do not make filters anymore so it forces you to buy a whole machine, so now I have one that I cannot buy a new filter for, will not buy this again.

    We purchased two insignia air purifiers. The filter depicted is almost always available. The smaller unit seems to seldom have any filters in stock, which makes the purchase useless!

      Very sorry for the trouble brought to your use. The filter is currently out of stock and we will have units arriving over next 2-3 weeks. Then you can get the replacement. Filter life varies based on runtime and existing air conditions. If you think your air condition is not very bad, you can use the old filter until you get new replacement. BBY-ExBrand_Insignia

    I have two of these air purifiers and they absolutely work, I was having issues worh my asthma after moving from the mountains of WV to a big city in Ohio and these purifiers work like a charm! Im breathing better,and they also kick in high gear when im cooking and also if I spray perfume or hairspray its quick to clean the air.

    I agree that these filters are WAY OVERPRICED!! Insignia needs to modify their pricing on these since they probably buy them from Taiwan or China for $1 or $2 each, I bought their Air Cleaner when I could've bought a different brand. Insignia needs to be kinder to the customers who buy their air cleaners!
