These a good replacement for the Apple Pencil(usb)

Less than 4 hours on the tip broke off in my ipencil 2nd gen.

Management was horrible, did not like their attitude towards customers. Management was upset and rude because they had to cover registers, they didn’t have any employees available to do so

Should've just ordered the apple tips. The tip broke and half of it got stuck inside my pencil. Could not remove and had to purchase a brand new pencil.

Yes, they are cheap but breaks easily and ultimately damaged my pencil. DO NOT GET THIS ONE.

I have two Apple pencils. A gen 1 and a gen 2. These work great. My gen 1 was almost worn out, and this brought new life to it so my daughter is happy she can resume doodling on her iPad Air. My gen 2 was in good shape, just a nick or two on the side, and this restored it to its former glory. Functionally I can’t tell a difference. If there is a difference in performance, it’s so slight as to be negligible or I’m not bourgeois enough to feel it. The color matches perfectly. Plastic quality seems identical. Where the difference is quite noticeable is the price. These are far more economical than the official replacement tips. Installation is simple. In a time where everything is skyrocketing in price and skimping on quality, it’s nice that Insignia can release product that performs as well as the official brands but at a more budget friendly price. Especially for parents with artistic kids who go through pencil tips quickly. A highly recommended product if you are in need of new pencil tips. A+

If you need to buy new tips for your Apple Pencil, there are countless third-party options available online but Insignia at least gives you some piece of mind considering its a Best Buy brand. There's a local store near by in case there is an issue. The tips come in a variety of colors and styles, but if you prefer to match the famous Apple white scheme, the white tips are indistinguishable from the original ones. The durability of the Pencil tips can vary depending on your usage patterns regardless if they're Insignia or the OEM replacements. In my case, I've only had to replace a tip once. While earlier Apple pencils used to come with a free replacement tip, newer ones do not. However, you can purchase a set of four Insignia brand tips at a much lower price if need be. They feel and look identical to the original ones. If you use a film screen protector on your iPad, it may cause the tip to wear out more quickly but I haven't noticed that since I have tempered glass on my iPads. I've read that the screen protectors designed to give a more tactile, paper-like feel, can also cause more friction and faster wear. In this case, buying cheaper third-party tips may be a good idea, as they retail for about $2 each. Replacing the tip is a straightforward process: Simply screw off the old tip and twist the new one in its place. The feel of the tip is a matter of personal preference. Some people prefer a firmer tip with less flexibility, while others like a softer, more flexible one. If you use your Pencil for note1-taking and basic line drawing, a firmer tip may be perfect for you. It may be different for a digital artist. I don't think you need to worry about a third-party tip potentially damaging your iPad. If this happens, it may be more difficult to get it repaired by Apple but I guess that's something to keep in mind. You may want to read Apple's warranty but I'm not worried about it. I would definitely recommend these over the OEM tips. They good quality, indiscernible from the OEM, and much lower price.

I'm going to keep this review short and simple. I dropped my official stock Apple tip and this Insignia tip on the ground when trying to install. I can't tell which one is which. They both feel the same. They both look the same. If I'm splitting hairs, there is one that has a slightly different shade of white in the perfect lighting. Would recommend if needed and enjoy the feel of the stock tip. It is essentially a wash. Since, this needs a 4,000-character minimum. It comes in a nice box. Inside is a plastic piece that has a covering over it. Which holds all four tips in place. Which is great as that way you won't have four tips rolling around somewhere. I have another 400 characters to go and really don't have anything else to say about these guys. So, I'm just going to ramble a bit to hit that word limit. I hope you have a great rest of your day. And happy handwriting on your iPad. Which is a great device to take notes on. A lot more fun than on paper. But does take some acclimating to get used to. And I've hit that number. Yay!

Review for Insignia™ - Replacement Tips for Apple Pencil 1st Generation, 2nd Generation, and USB-C (4-Pack) I really like using my Apple Pencil, both for drawing and design, but also just as a stylus for everyday work. What I didn’t realize is that the tip wears out but is easily replaceable. The Insignia brand (BestBuy’s in-house store brand) is almost always equal to, or better than the original manufacturer’s and this is true with these tips. They are indistinguishable in color, feel, and usage from the original Apple tips, but much more affordable. Given a pack of four, I can share them with my wife and still have plenty of “drawing miles” for myself. Changing the tips is a simple task: just unscrew the old one and screw on the new one. The color is a perfect match to the original. I was surprised at the performance improvement, partly because I hadn’t realized how my old tip had worn — it is several years old. These would also make a thoughtful gift for any Apple Pencil user; something they may not think to get for themselves.

There’s some things I have no problem buying that are made buy Apple and there’s some things I won’t pay the Apple tax on and these are one of those things. Insignia delivers again on an item that’s just as good as OEM but at half the price. I have a second generation Apple Pencil and I haven’t had to replace the tip on it yet, but unfortunately I have cats that love to chew plastic! This is the biggest reason I would need to replace the tip as I only use my Apple Pencil in my house. These tips are literally just like the one that come on the Apple Pencil. If you’re a person who uses your Apple Pencil a lot outside where you could damage your tip by dropping it on the ground, having extra tips are a no brainer. Like other Insignia products they deliver the same quality as original equipment manufacturers at less than half the cost. Sometimes it’s better to buy OEM, but sometimes it’s not and these are definitely one of those products. If you want to save money and still get the same quality, these Insignia tips are the smart choice.

The Bottom Line: the Insignia Replacement Tips for Apple Pencil are nearly indistinguishable from the original tip and work just as well. Pros: fit perfectly; nearly identical to OEM tip; works without issue. Cons: perhaps just a tad bit harder than the OEM tip. They fit perfectly on my Apple Pencil 2, and the Pencil works as it should on my iPad mini 6. Comparing the replacement and OEM tip, the color of the original tip has a subtle bit more gray than the replacement - so slight they look identical in the picture I tried to take for comparison. In terms of “feel”, the replacement tip seems to be made of a slightly harder plastic than the OEM. This produces a slightly harder “tap” when placing the tip on the screen and there’s just a slight bit more resistance/less flex using the replacement tip compared to the original. Once again, these differences are incredibly slight and are only really noticeable in a side-by-side comparison.

I never leave reviews for items, this is my first time in years, but I hated this product so much I had to. Do yourself a favor if you have an apple pencil and just get the bame brand replacement nibs. These things shatter if you look too hard at it - and when they chip off at the base, you have to be careful to surgically remove it or risk damaging your pen. Would never buy these cheap pieces of plastic again.

My old pencil tip from Apple had lasted 2 years. Without changing the screen saver or my usage habits, I put on a new pencil tip. One Insignia tip had worn out in 2 weeks. These tips are cheap, but they do not hold up like the tips from Apple themselves. These tips are initially cheaper, but they do not hold up anything like the apple pencil tips.

Each broke within a day of use. A hole ripped open at the tip exposing the apple pencil metal.
