|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Insignia - NS-HAWHP2 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones - Black The first thing I noticed about the headphones was how light they are. They have a nice base station that has RCA input with RCA pass through so you don’t need a splitter. It also has an optical input. They come with the RCA cable and the RCA to mini headphone plug you will need for most devices. It dose not come with the optical cable. The power is supplied by the power adapter, also included. You can select what input to use either from the base station or with the headphones. The headphones have buttons for Power/Sync, Volume up/down, input select. They recharge while placed on the base station. Red lights for charging, green light when full, blue lights while in use. The input select lights are a soft white and are separated completely. One at the top and one at the bottom. Very easy to see what input is selected. When I first placed them on my head (with them turned off) I noticed how cheap and plastic they feel. They are light and you can hear the plastic echo when you talk. This all changes as soon as they have an input. For their price point they sound great. Plenty of response for watching TV. You may want something better for listening to music but watching TV these are perfect. The light weight actually adds to the fact that you may want to watch a 2 hour movie with them on. Stated battery life is up to 10 hours. I’m sure that will vary depending on the volume level you have them set at. The hookup as far as the base station goes is truly beyond simple. Just add an input and they handle everything else. You may need to select what input you’re using but that selection seems to stay once you’ve selected it. I had a much harder time getting my Marantz A/V receiver to give me a NON-Volume controlled line level output. I’ll be completely honest here, it took me 5 minutes to completely understand how everything about these headphones work. It took me over an hour, and a call to Marantz, to get a line level output on my receiver. They removed the tape monitor output jacks. The Marantz receiver comes with a 287 page manual, and they left out one crucial piece of information for getting the output I needed. I am completely satisfied with these headphones for their intended purpose.

Tried it on the TV again no go had to return it. Last time I will set foot in your store again

It didn't have the correct connector. I never did get them to work correctly and they were expensive. Won't buy this again at Best buy... Went to walmart and got a less expensive pair and they work...huh

First pair different brand and stopped working right at 3 years) and they are very quirky. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. Returning.

I will have to get Geek Squad assistance, but have been delayed due to health issues. More urgently though, Even though I received a notice of my Best Buy card payment due, when I try to access payment through my account, am told my email address is not recognized. I thought I would also receive a paper bill, that has not arrived for me to pay by check.
