The good: good choices for hooking up to the TV very clear understandable sound comfortable Problem: the buttons to change volume cannot be felt clearly when headphone is worn (and not as easy to adjust as a wheel type control) so you have to take it off first. I glued on a rubber disc to make it more usable and am getting along OK.

4.5 Very functional. I can watch what I want without disturbing anyone else in the house. The documentation was difficult--terrible, really--so you have to experiment with it. I got frustrated and set it aside for a day. Then I got methodical. Use an optical cable. It works far better. I'm still not always sure whether and how much it has charged and why. For now, I just keep the headset on the charger and leave it there. Sound is great--A-/B+.

I purchased this Insignia headset to watch TV as I'm hard of hearing. This purchase was to replace a four year old Sennheiser RS 120 set which I accidentally broke. I've had the Insignia now for about two weeks and it's much better than my old unit. It doesn't give me sudden blasts of loud static when the TV sound level is too low. The new unit is much more powerful and I can use it when the TV sound is muted too. Both units were the same price. This is a good product and I'm very satisfied!

Great product! Purchased as a gift for my hard-of-hearing Mom in assisted living whose roommate keeps her TV volume too high, drowning out whatever Mom wants to watch. TV headphones were easy to set up and easy to use, and Mom can easily wear right over her hearing aids. Exactly what she needed!

These Wireless headphones are a godsend. They have some noise reduction along with a fantasic audio driver behind them. Sound is crisp and not noticeable when it comes to lag, which was my top concern. The best use for it right now is when I am working and my girlfriend wants to play games or watch TV she can without disturbing my work or conference calls. Highly recommend.

Great buy! Sound is so full and clear. Feel like I’m in the theatre. Had problems hearing words from tv but with these headphones I can even hear background sounds like crumpling of paper or setting down a glass not heard with just tv and in past when hearing was better. Greatly enhances my movie experience 1000%. Great value and comfortable.

I received these for a Christmas gift, and everything about them is great, the sound, light, long battery life, but the frame at the top of the head where the charger contacts are split right in half in March .I tried duct taping them no good then I tried crazy glue no good. Disappointing I wouldn’t buy these. If I had the receipt, I would return them but it was a gift.

I have hearing loss in one ear and my other ear works well but mostly at a right angle to my head. These headphones are great at helping me hear more sound detail from my TV even when I have a fan running on a hot day. I am very pleased with these headphones.

The sound quality and walking around range is outstanding

I needed a way to play my console games at night without the volume disturbing others in the house. After failed attempts with bluetooth, I went with these and wish I had picked these up as my first choice. Easily connected the base to my speakers and the headphones work like a dream. The distance is quite far and I think they work farther than the advertised 33 feet distance. The headphones themselves are light and fit comfortably on my ears.

Great option for listening to television. More comfortable than the Sennheiser I was using. There are two issues: one is that when I have glasses on the headset does get uncomfortable after wearing for a while, and the second is that the volume control buttons on the headset are poorly designed. Still highly recommend.

I have a 6 year old who sleeps on my bed at least once a week. Having the TV near my bed is not helpful to his sleep. This device helps me watch movies at night without having to wake him up. Set up is pretty easy--- I opted for a aux set up on my TV. This way, I do not have to switch settings on my TV (PS. Optical set up will require you to switch settings if you need to use the device)-- on aux setup, the audio signal is continuously going to the headphones so I can pick it up anytime. Signal is great-- while watching, I can get food or go to the bathroom which is a good distance away from the receiver and do not get any drops in audio. The audio is a lot to be desired though-- it is not your top notch high quality booms and crisp dialogue but I can hear the movie just fine. It's not bad at all-- for me, as long as I understand the dialogue and still feel like I am immersed in the movie is all it is. The headphones themselves are comfortable enough. I don't think I can last over 2 hours on them-- I know they are on and they are soft enough but it's not something I can wear for a long time. Charging is easy-- and it is compact enough to be placed behind my TV. It is a good product; a must have for action-movie watchers at night!
