There is a marked difference in quality of materials, but the insignia is 1/3 the price. I have not used it longer that a three hour movie, so I'm not able to judge the battery life. Once the headphones successfully connected the base, this seems automatic each time the unit is used. Sound quality is good for movie watching.

She says these are better! She needed but got help with the set up, connection, and charging, but once operational, she loves them!
