Sound is great and headset is used along with a a Bose speaker also purchased. Used at night when hubby is sleeping and I silence the Bose Speaker.

I wear hearing aids and Headphones are enabling my dear wife to listen at a normal level once again . I recommend this item to all with a hearing loss.

She can be hard to please because her ears are so sensitive, but she finds these very comfortable when watching TV. The sound quality is great!

The TV price was sold at a bargain I could not turn it down. The only headphones with an optical connection is the Sony. Sony Headphones are easy to connect and comfortable to wear. These are my third pair cause the battery is not replaceable. The TV sound source needs to be PCM setting. Enjoy, I do.

I have a nearing problem and htey allow me to hear without having the tv volume up extra loud
