It works well when using throughout the house. I will say that when the house is full of people and background noise, I just couldn't get it to play loud enough to rise above the chatter.

But the seal for the charge port is hard to close so I’m worried about water getting into it. In addition the battery on this is very little. You get about 2-3 hours worth of charge IMO. Not bad for a cheap speaker though.
