The thing is yhat you need a USB port to connect it to the xbox one console. I try to make it fix but the design make it impossible for it to fit xbox one. Another best thing you that the battery come with the charger.... not one but two and you can charge them both at same time.

The batteries hold a decent amount of battery life. The charger itself plugs into the right-most USB port of the Xbox One X. It uses a slider to lock into place. There is a front-facing USB port on the charger, so you don't "use up" the lone front USB port. It adds about 2 inches to the width of the Xbox, and the charger is about 3 inches deep.
