This case started out good and within a few weeks had torn and become unusable.

My main issue with this case is the slightly sticky texture that makes getting my phone in and out of my pocket frustrating. I’ve tried using this case several times hoping that the tacky feel would go away, by the second day I’m so frustrated with fighting this case to get my phone in or out of my pocket that I say forget this and use another case. As much as I hate wasting money, this case is going in the trash.

This is an affordable alternative silicone case that protects my Iphone 14 Pro well. There is a decent amount of lip protecting the screen and the camera protection is about the industry standard. Basically if you lay it on the back or front nothing touches a flat table. It is comfortable to hold and smooth to hold but not slippery. I did like that it has a built in mag safe magnet which is a plus when your chargers require that. After a few days of use the only issues I had were that the phone would pick up pocket lint frequently and I feel like over time the color would show dirt and wear real easily. The only other unknown is what the drop protection would actually be. This is something I will not test of course but I imagine based on the build quality it will protect about the same as others in its class. This is an entry level case and I think Insignia did a good job offering an affordable case that still seems like it would protect the same as others double the price. I would love to see more color choices with bold and bright colors to give my phone color choices Apple clearly does not make. I do like that the inside is made of soft micro fiber which makes me feel confident it is being protected well. My phone is Deep Purple so the combination was an excellent pairing and the case worked well.

It's very reliable, very sturdy, and very safe for your iPhone 14. The best part about it is it's silicone so if your hands, let's say, ends up wet, you will still be able to grip your phone just fine without any issues. Texture does have a bit of a powdery feel to it which I did not expect. Fits the phone just snug without any real play, whatsoever. I can access the few buttons I have just fine. The MagSafe feature works good too and it ensures that I can charge my phone with ease without having to remove the case, which you sometimes have to do with other cheaper cases. This comes in different colors but I got the black one which looks like it can take a beating but will also show signs of wear and tear as time comes along. Overall, the case is pretty solidly built and it should be able to keep your iPhone safe from small accidents like dropping it from a decent height. I wouldn't use this case if you need something really sturdy for your phone, but then again, you'd be purchasing a different case at that point.
