Also wrong voltage so it only turned my laptop on but since it is the wrong power setting it wouldn't charge the laptop. On the box it said it was a universal charger for Dell so I am going to return it

Worst ever, burned my battery

I had to buy a new battery, my laptop barely saved its life from it. Do not buy it. Important to say that I am a Software Engineer that check every feature of every product I buy as well as its compatibility. This prodict is BAD.

It held the charge that was already on my pc but would not recharge it.

However, it doesn't work with a Dell 7000 model.There is not a tip that fits the 7000 and actually charges the battery.
