I had these for years, but gave them away to a friend. Compared to the Logitech speakers, these Insignia speakers are really bad. The high tones are OK, but lows are nowhere to be found. I didn't expect any trembling bass whatsoever, but comparing to the sound coming out of my headset I was just missing a whole spectrum of audio. If you're looking for something for the $20 range, I would recommend getting the Logitech Z130. They have some decent lows considering it is the same kind of set up. Again, used them for years and found them quite sufficient for listening to music/videos and some gaming.

Something to do with one of the cables? It sounds like it is hooked up so the TV is playing directly to the sound bar. No surround Etc. I also gave him a power strip he requested, but he did not even hook that up. I had to sell my home after my wife passed and living in a rental now. Since I have bought a few thousand dollars at your store and until now everybody has been great. Please respond.

I bought these cheap speakers thinking they'll be just fine... But I have to admit... they are not!!! when I turn them on, and I do not have any music or video playing, there is this horrible hissing sound that comes out. It's painful to hear... Now, let's talk about the volume dial. It is terrible! It is hard to turn and doesn't go very far. So, in brief, I give this product one star. Please don't bother buying them. They are not worth it.
