Just ok, but you can't complain

This is my second Insignia speaker. The first one lasted me about 5 1/2 years. Both of them have the same cheap sound, they just have a different design. I don't really watch or listen to anything on my desktop that much, so I don't really care about the sound quality.

The first Insignia product I wouldn't recommend.

You have to hold the speaker in place so you don't turn the whole thing. The volume level is pretty low, even for a low end set of speakers. I would not purchase these again nor recommend you buy them. They only get two stars because they do actually produce sound. Further than that....

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i am not sure how these sound, but if you are using these for a desktop it may not work. the cord for the sound plug to the computer is only approximately 3 feet long. in my case, i could not plug it in to my computer. however, the power plug is 5 or feet long and can use either a USB or power plug. if you are using a laptop, this wont effect you. however, why use it for a laptop when there are so many wireless speaker set ups.

Heard feedback coming from speakers so it seems they worked. Called Geek Squad and they determined it was something to do with the connecting wire in the speakers so I returned them.
