Good Sound, Modest Investment

My old laptop doesn't have blue tooth so had to go old school and these plug-in Insignia speakers do the job very well. A bass / treble adjustment function would be nice (a little bass heavy) but the overall sound quality and trimline size work very well with my laptop. I'm pleased with my speaker choice.

Sure they don't have as much bass as a dedicated stereo with a subwoofer but it doesn't like there's a lack of bass and with me listening to these for hours while I'm working I prefer not to excessive bass anyway. The sound from these speakers fills up my studio (the size of a second bedroom) and down the hall that's just on 20%. Very affordable and easy setup.

Pretty good little speakers for the price!

Obviously they aren't going to sound like 50 dollar ones, but the sound is clear and fairly rich. I set up my realtek equalizer with them and have been listening to music and am satisfied! They also are good for videos as well. I like the look of them too. Nice and simple and a nice size.

I place them behind my head where I sit so that I adjust the volume to a low level. Quality is impressive for such inexpensive speakers. I like that there is also a 3.5 mm headphone plug if I want to listen to TV with complete room silence.
