Great for a budget-friendly speaker system works absolutely perfect

This review is coming from a 57 y/o NON Gamer who just needs a basic set of speakes to listen to the news. They work just fine. They give a bit more kick when I listen to a song on youtube or watch a movie on Netflix.

They are inexpensive speakers. They met the need and work great. Yes there are better sound quality speakers and lots of extras available, but I just needed more volume than the desktop monitor allowed. These work great for that purpose.

Was looking for something inexpensive and found these. Very suprised at how good the sound is. Easy connection and set up. Volume know is a little stiff but still works great, wish cord connecting the two speakers was a little longer.

Wanted to be able to listen to music and how recipes are put together and other people talking. So I purchased a speaker set and have enjoyed what I have missed for some time. Should have purchased speakers sooner.

I have used these to listen to podcasts, play older games, and even listen to music. They get decently loud, are pretty clear as well. Rear ported, so if you place them in corners a few inches away, you do actually get some more depth in terms of soundstage than you'd think. That being said... No low end. Of any kind. Anything below 600hz is kind of... missing. But who cares! Good, cheap office speakers that sound okay. They are powered, so keep that in mind, have a power outlet nearby.

OK speakers for the price. Sound is good enough, speakers are little light.

These speakers are true plug-and-play—easy to set up and they work great for YouTube videos and conference calls. If you’re after premium sound quality, I’d recommend the Insignia model with bass. But if you just need clear, reliable audio that isn’t crackling and want something simple to use, these are an excellent choice.

Purchased the insignia speakers to replace a pair of old Dell speakers for out desk top computer. Great sound and a good working volume control. My wife loves the sound when listening to music.

I bought these speakers primarily due to the price point; generally the Insignia brand is decent and these speakers are fine, they are easy to set up, have great sound and they look good on the desk.

I purchased these for my computer when its speaker was failing. I had tried another brand but found this one to be better sound quality. Also the turn on button is easier to access than the small slippery twist knob of the other brand.

Great sound and at a great price. Wasn't expecting much when I bought these but for the price they produce pretty good sound.
