They are "speakers" for when one needs "speakers". I wouldn't get these to listen to music or to impress anyone. I would only buy them in case I had a comp where I wanted to play sound out loud and wanted a very basic speaker. With that said, these are "quality".

There's virtually no installation problem. Plug the speakers into a wall outlet, plug the cable into the headphone out port, and now there is quality stereo sound that is easy to adjust. Also, these are a bargain and have become my favorite gift to other laptop users.

Economical And Efficient

The dvd player I have does get very loud so these allow me to amplify the sound. These also work great with my cell phone when I want a kind of surround sound feel when listening to my music.
