    One of my daughters goes through headphones at an alarming rate. I run and use a flat wire headset so I tried one with her. Finally we are not replacing headphones weekly!. The lack of the wire tangling due to flatness appears to have solved the problem. It is still to early to tell jut how long they will last but so far so good.
