I give the insignia True Wireless Earbuds high marks for convenience, design, and sound quality. The system utilizes a very clever hard case to charge and protect the earbuds. --DESIGN AND USE-- This integrated system consists of the right earbud (main), the left earbud (secondary), and hard case. The earbuds charge by inserting them in the case and then charging the case with a micro USB cable. The case then charges the earbuds. I really like this design because it requires the use of the hard case which is essential to protecting the earbuds from getting damaged or lost. The left earbud cannot be operated independently and must be within about seven inches of the right one. After being fully charged the earbuds can be used for about 5 hours. The case doubles as a rechargeable battery and can charge the earbuds about 3 times, for a total of about 15 hours of usage. Be aware that the left earbud cannot be used without the right one. So, if you intend to use only one earbud, it must always be the right one. They are very lightweight and comfortable to wear. The build quality of the case and earbuds are excellent. The ear clips secured them to my ears, so they never felt as if they were going to fall off. They are water resistant, so they can be used while working out or while outside. --SOUND QUALITY— The sound quality for music and movies is excellent. The sound is full range and puts out a surprising amount of bass for such small earbuds. They certainly sound much better than the earbuds that come with a cell phone or tablet. The call audio quality is excellent for Bluetooth. The electronics do an admirable job of balancing the sound, so I only heard the slightest hints of echo when on a call with both earbuds on. --VERDICT— These wireless earbuds are an excellent value. They sound great, are easy to transport, and are comfortable to wear. They do not sound as good as full-size headphones but are perfect to take on the go when portability is the priority. --OTHER INFO— IPX4 water resistance rating Bluetooth version 4.1 (A2DP: SBC, MP3, AAC) Micro USB input

I've been helping my son look for "workout" headphones for a while and it has been exhausting. Either they don't fit right and fall out, or they don't hold a charge, or they aren't water-resistant enough for a heavy sweater, or they just don't sound good. I think we finally found a fit here with these Insignia True Wireless headphones! He reports that these sound very good - he likes big bass for his lifting workouts - and they hook around his ear nicely and hold firm! Also, he doesn't seem to have and issues with sweating thus far! The only thing he's complained about was the touch button to go to the next song seems a bit quirky - needing to press it twice to recognize the tough. They come in a very nice charging case - making it easy to go a week without needed to plug anything in! Nice job Insignia - he's a happy kid!

Great Fit and Decent Sound Quality

[[ Design and Fit ]] I have found Insignia’s truly wireless headphones to be have a much more secure fit than other truly wireless earbuds. The soft ear hooks fit comfortably around my ears and stayed in place even during HIIT workouts and running. I do find that the sweatier I get, the “seal” into my ear canal can work loose and I lose some of the bass, but the ear hooks keeps the earbuds from falling completely off of my ear. So if you’re purchasing these for working out, you shouldn’t be disappointed, but please note that this “seal” also creates an underwater-like effect, meaning I can hear every footstep vibration amplified when these earbuds are in. However, I’m not a huge fan of the touch pads on the side of each earbud. Normally, you can simply tap on the earbuds to play and pause your music (a double-tap skips to the next track). When adjusting the earbuds, I find myself accidentally activating the touch buttons and pausing my music. Although the Apple AirPods have a touch sensor, they do not seem to exhibit this issue like the Insignia earbuds. I would have preferred a physical button in this case. [[ Sound Quality ]] The sound quality is very good on these earbuds. They are passive noise cancelling earbuds, meaning that you need to seal them to your ear canal for the best sound quality and to muffle outside sounds. When seated properly in your ear, the Insignia earbuds have a very good bass output and mids and highs also sound very balanced. The sound quality is not quite up there with Apple AirPods, but at half the price, the Insignia earbuds have more more than acceptable sound quality. [[ Connection ]] The connection between the left and right headphone seems to do fairly well. Indoors, I don’t really experience a lot of issues with the sound cutting out between the two headphones unless I’m near a router or other interference. Outdoors, the sound cutouts are slightly more frequent, especially if I wear my phone on the left side of my body (it pairs with the right earbud). Overall, I’m very pleased with the connection stability. [[ Battery Life and Charging ]] On a full charge, the headphones last up to 5 hours and the charging case can recharge the earbuds about 2 times, so you could get about 15 hours of usage when the case and earbuds are fully charged. It’s important to line up the charging pins properly when returning the earbuds to the case or they may not make a solid connection. Closing the case helps to press the earbuds into their respective slots. In fact, I find the earbuds don’t usually charge until I press the case shut. Oddly, the right earbuds must be placed in the left-side of the case and the left earbud goes into the right-side of the case, which is likely the opposite of what most people are expecting. The earbuds and charging case are also a lot bulkier than I was expecting, especially when compared to the Apple AirPods. They definitely don’t fit in my jean’s pockets [[ Overall ]] Sound quality is very good and the connection is -- for the most part -- stable in these truly wireless earbuds from BestBuy. The fit is comfortable yet secure, making them ideal for working out. However, the case is somewhat bulky and not as convenient to carry when compared to the Apple AirPods.

    Pretty Solid Headphones

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: Pretty good eabuds, I was skeptical about true wireless after going through 2 different pairs of Samsung Gear Icon X (2018) due to a strange low volume issue in the left earbud. Those had some nice features like auto on and extra touchpad gestures like volume up/down but did not fit very well and had minimal battery charge. PROS; Where these headphones strive is in the things that matter: Sound is surprising good both for true wireless and for regular earbuds. Comfort is pretty good as well, as long as you fit them correctly or else the hooks will irritate your ear after a while. Fit: these won't fall out, ever. Battery: Supposed to be good, haven't tested enough to say so far. Lastly, one of my favorites, even though these are not Bluetooth 5.0, there is no video latency for the sound! Thank God! CONS; Small things that should have been refined: All these things are mildly frustrating, just not enough so to make me not like the product. The earbuds don't automatically turn on and pair when the case is opened which isn't terrible but it would be convenient. Instead, I have to take out the earbuds and turn them on one by one if I want to use them both, at which point they auto pair to the last device they were connected to. Also, the fact that I can't use the left without the right is frustrating, but not too bad. You do have the ability to only use the right bud though. You can only pause and play using the touch pad on the side, which isn't always perfect. It would be nice to have skip or sound control. Lastly, I charged these up last night and when they charge in the case a red light shows up for each bud on the case until they are done. One LED correctly turned off after a while, the other stayed on... all night. I'm testing the buds now to see if they both last the full 5 hours (approximately) even though one bud didn't say it was finished charging to see if it's just an error. But because I think it continued to try and charge the bud, the case that was plugged in never fully charged itself until I took the earbuds out. At least that's what showed on the 4 LED battery marker. However it did go from 3 to 4 marks quite quickly, but I'm not sure it that's normal yet. I do wish there was some way to see or be told by the earbuds what they're battery life is at, maybe its automatic and I just haven't seen it yet though. Overall: Surprising good headphones especially for the price. Even better if you like working out or running because of the hooks.

Setup is very easy for Insignia™ - NS-CAHBTAP True Wireless In-Ear Headphones and able to pair with phone very quickly using Bluetooth. The audio / call quality is really great. The neck band fits perfectly while doing exercise. Battery is really good and it lasts for five hours as advertised. It comes with charging hard case and ear buds can be charged when it is not in use. It can be charged using micro USB cable. It is really convenient to put ear buds inside hard case and very convenient to carry as well. Hard case is very handy and can be used to charge 3 times which will give close to 20 hours of usage. Headphones are very lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The build quality is excellent and sound quality is outstanding as well. The headphones are water resistant and I was using it during workouts. These headphones are excellent value with quality features. The Insignia™ - NS-CAHBTAP True Wireless In-Ear Headphones are great set of headphones for a truly wireless experience.

Very solid Bluetooth headphones with a few quirks! The headphones provide good sound quality say a solid B in terms of music playback, the sound can be different depending how you have them positioned in your ear. In terms of call quality on both ends a solid A to A+. Being that these are still using Bluetooth 4.2 tech the range was very impressive, never experienced any signal dropout even being 20 to 25 feet from my device behind a door. The headphones do not make a complete seal when using them, which I like because you still have a sense of what’s going on around you. The ear hooks are excellent and I wish more manufacturers had these as it helps keep this type of headphone in your ear. They’re excellent headphones for working out with. From my short time using them the battery life has been excellent, listend to about 30 minutes of music and the battery remained @ around 100%. The charging case looks bigger than it is, it’s bigger than others but is still easy to carry in your pocket. Now for the quirks! When removing them from the case and you want to use them you have to power them on, each individually. Other headphones like this you simply pull them out of the charging case and they connect to your device automatically . The power button is located on the inside next to the part that goes in your ear, which makes it a little more awkward if your driving and need to use these. Another feature I wished they had, is the ability to use each individually. Only the right works by itself, this is not unique to these as a lot of other wireless eadphones cannot do this either yet. Overall very solid headphones that can easily go toe to toe with the heavyweights in the market.

These Insignia wireless headphones provide very good musical sound with basic controls for play/pause, answering calls but lack volume controls and track skipping or replay. The charging/battery case is a plus giving you additional usage time and provides protection for the ear buds while not in use. It took some time to get used putting them on as the hooks are a bit to soft to me. Touch controls are kins of hit or miss as it almost always took more than 1 tap to get a response. Overall these Insignia wireless earbuds are not feature packed with things like eq settings or track and volume controls and the touch control cpuld be better. They do however provide very good sound quality.

Insignia true wireless, in-ear, bluetooth stereo earbuds, have over the ear hooks that keep them in place. So no worry about them falling off. Indoors and out. That’s what attracted me to them in the first place. Came in very nice packaging. Nothing cheap about product. No problem pairing with an Acer R11 Chromebook. Listening to YouTube music Epic Film Scores now. They also work well on Google Play Music free radio stations. Charging case easy to use and provides an additional 15 hours of playback. Without the case, battery lasts up to 5 hours during music playback. Just insert the earbuds and plug in wall charger or use the included USB cord. Used a charger from an Android tablet. Didn’t take long to reach a full charge. Maybe 90 minutes or so. Mic lets you make phone calls in stereo mode but not sure what benefits this offers. I’ve used other truly free BT wireless earbuds before. These are the best so far.

Insignia has released a set of wireless earphones. They are a great option for those who do not want to be tethered with wires. These earphones are great because they have the ear clip which means they won't fall out of your ears like some brands (Apple). It is good not having to worry about losing an earbud. These earphones fit into the ear but my ears a re a little large and I couldn't get a tight seal. Sound is good but can be tweaked through software with whatever music application you are using. I use Jet Audio on my phone and was able to create a sound profile that was able to enhance my music listening experience.I like that when you remove one of your earphones it automatically pauses your music. It is a nice feature being that there is no way to control the volume on the earphones due to how small they are. I was able to easily squeeze a work weeks of battery life out of these buds. I listen to music to and from work on the train for 30 minutes each way. The charging case is great and makes charging your earphones effortless. These earphones are easy to pair, easy to use and easy to charge. The only thing I wish for is a smartphone app to be able to do more with these earphones. Overall these are a great pair of earphones that I enjoy using. These are my first pair of true wireless earphones and I am impressed with what Insignia has done. I look forward to an updated /enhanced version in the future.

When I first saw these, I thought I flashed back to a pair of truely wireless Bluetooth of a different manufacturer. I'm so glad ignored the initial thought to not get these. These are not perfect, by any means, but what they do is worth every penny. You get water resistance, so they are great for workouts or yard work. They could be a little louder, but that's also forgivable since you know they will not fall out. They keep their connection to the paired very well. That's a major plus. Though the features are limited to play/pause or answer and hang up. But you get what you pay for. I think these are pretty good earbuds and I'm glad I have them. As I always do, here's a link to my full online review. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HpJMtl-n5I8tazmNYUsIEPbWy0GIyJHg8EahXGXZ4D0/edit?usp=sharing

Overall these are awesome. I first bought them before there were reviews so I was a little hesitant. But for the price they far exceeded my expectations. Pairing is really quick. There's usually never any connection issues. The only thing that kind of sucks is the ear buds have to be in close proximity to one another to both make sound - so you can't really share an earbud with someone else. But I wear them for running mostly so that's not a problem. They are water resistant so that's nice. You can make calls on them and don't have annoying cords. And they STAY PUT. I have tiny ears and my husband has big ears and they don't give either of us problems. I knocked off 1 star because after 1 month the right earbud suddenly stopped working. It wouldn't charge. We couldn't figure out why, but Best Buy replaced them with no questions asked. I'll update this review if they stop working again.

I swear that Insignia has discovered black magic, because these things are just incredible. Now, these aren't the best, but they are better than most true wireless earbuds at this price. Most others will have bad bass or lower max volumes or just bad battery life. But these headphones can kick you upside the head, do it loudly, and they do it for a good half-shift. In spite of their bulky looks, they can sit rather flat against your ear, but they are noticeable with their size and blinking blue light, so if your boss doesn't like you listening to music on the clock, wear a beanie or something. What is even more impressive is that both earbuds have touchpads on them. So a double tap on the right or left pauses and plays music, a double tap on the right answers calls, and a double on the left rejects them. It's a shame that volume control has to be controlled by the music player itself, but I can let that pass honestly. The only finicky thing is when you put them in the charging case. You have to shift and wiggle them left and right in order to ensure that the contacts are mated properly against the pads on the buds; basically do it until the LED's flash red. And with the size of the case, I would have expected more recharges, but 2 recharges is usually enough for one day, plus you could plug these into an external battery and recharge the case easily. And with the sound quality, again, I don't know how Insignia does it, but they found a way to squeeze quite a lot of bass into these things. I played my usual gambit of tests, Metal, Dubstep, and 80's rock, and these earbuds plays them all well. Little distortion in the low end, high end is a little bit less desirable, but forgivable, few headphones can balance all frequencies well without shelling out thousands. Pros: -Loud -Bass -Long play time -Secure -Touch control -Quick Recharge Cons: -Charging can be finicky -Case is large -Wish the case had more charges due to its size -No onboard volume control

Solid B score. Bought them for the wireless in-ear with earhooks fit. The fit pretty secure, won't fall completely out due to earhooks, but sometimes come wiggle slightly loose and need to be pushed back in a little for full contact required for bass on earphones. Sound is good, not the best, but good for what they are. Battery lasts long enough for a couple of workouts without the case, however storing them in the charging storage case when not in use and I get about a week of hour long workouts without needing to recharge the case. Sensor tochpad does not work good at all. Overall though, my favorite in ear wireless headphones for working out, and I've tried quite a few.

I have very small ear canals and have a difficult time with ear buds. NONE of them stay in. The only thing I’ve ever been able to use are sport headsets that wrap around my entire ear. I recently purchased AirPod 2’s for my son. Tried them and the same... they just fall out. These are the best buds I’ve ever owned. The fit is so perfect (FOR ME) that these are practically noise canceling. I cannot hear conversations at all with them in, even if I’m not listening to music. The sound is quite rich too, but I attribute that to the fit. All my headsets that have a better fit pump the sound right into my skull without any loss or outside noise. Battery life has not been an issue at all, but I’ve never listened to them for more than 4 consecutive hours. And for the price... amazing. But what it comes down to is that everyone should continue to search for buds that have that perfect fit. I’ve found mine!

After using some pretty expensive Jabra bluetooth headphones that had the connecting wire for a couple years I decided to go true wireless. I was able to pick these up on sale for $70. I am very impressed with the sound quality. The bass is much better than my previous headphones and I have had no problems with the range on these using them in a pretty large gym. I leave my phone in my gym bag at one corner of the gym and have not dropped signal once. Being able to charge them in the case is also a great feature. My only complaint is that the touch controls can be a bit finicky.

Saw these in store and decided to give them a try. So far they're decent, but I have some annoyances. Negatives: - Other earbud tips fall off easily and won't fit in the charging case. Doesn't come with any other tips. - Connection between earbuds is very weak when not wearing either earbud. In other words you can't "share" your music, or just listen with the left earbud in - Must have the right earbud connected to your phone to use the left earbud. This is a common problem with "super wireless" earbuds, and one I'm sure will be fixed in future versions. Positives: - Music auto-pauses when you remove one earbud - Decent sound for the price - Doesn't fall out easily Overall, the fit isn't great, but it's not the worst I've seen, and isn't uncomfortable. The battery seems decent, but as with all super-wireless buds isn't great. The sound is very bass-heavy, and I had to do some EQing to get it to a more balanced sound - highs were EXTREMELY shallow out of the box. My EQ was pretty quick-and-dirty, but I've attached a screenshot of it if anyone wants an idea of what I did. But in general, out of the super-wireless earbuds I've tried (Sony WF-1000X, Apple Airpods, a random Amazon pair and these), I've gotta say these are probably the best value proposition. Got some quirks, but I'd totally recommend them to someone not wanting to spend too much (especially if you can get them lower than the $130 retail).
