I found this unit, it covered my needs and was in stock "locally" that day. It kept me going and will stay in the RV since it has different plugs, it can power other laptops, etc.

It only stops it from using the battery, but it will charge it when the laptop is off. But that is not a big problem for me however i see it being a problem for others.

Amazing features for a "house brand" adapter set

I'm impressed that it's now 180 watts, and easily replaces the older 90 watt set I was using before. Easy to swap ends, has a good output, and doesn't get hot (so far).

There were 2 tips that fit their laptop and only one of them worked. Saved the trip for this family member so they could do some work while in town. This powered a pretty beefy laptop for CAD work, so it should provide enough power for power hungry laptops
