I bought this model for a gaming laptop. Technically it works but ends up limiting gpu performance due to the fewer watts provided than the stock charger.

We couldn't figure out what was wrong with my nephew's laptop. Bought 3 chargers 2 from Amazon 1 from the company itself and had to return ALL of them!!!

Because it has a 1060 6GB, it needed a power source greater than 165W, this charger has been a life saver!

It actually made the computer crash and fail to operate when plugged in. I believe this was due to the incorrect connector (even though the connector fit just fine) but the Dell connector in that was provided with the charger did not work. Perhaps if I had another connector, that would have fixed it. Unfortunately I was in a bind on the road and had no other choice but to try this unit and it did not work.

I misplaced my charger and went to Best Buy to buy a replacement charger. The only charger BB had was a generic charger with 10 adapters. None fit my laptop. I had to buy the charger, then while I was in the store, I sat down and opened it up and tried all 10 (?) adapters. None fit and then I had to return the charger for a refund
