It actually made the computer crash and fail to operate when plugged in. I believe this was due to the incorrect connector (even though the connector fit just fine) but the Dell connector in that was provided with the charger did not work. Perhaps if I had another connector, that would have fixed it. Unfortunately I was in a bind on the road and had no other choice but to try this unit and it did not work.

This was the highest wattage, it did not work found out my needed 230 watt. Did not have time to return it while away. Got packed up and forgotten about. Today I had to go for a service repair at my local Best Buy (Georgetown TX). They still stock this item, it is brand new. It had been a long time since purchase so only asked for a return and "store credit". Cashier had to go talk to the manager to get approval and he came back and said they turned me down???? I am a loyal customer, just last year we moved and I spent over $10K at Best Buy, I have the Premier Service Plan? No store credit for a $70 charging cord still in the box?? Bad call on the managers part.
