Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I left my charger at home working many days away from home at a time...i was able to purchase/test to see if it worked with my system Brand new 2021 asus zephyrus g15 with 3070....and it worked like a charm. The customer support insured it wouldnt harm my system and they offered a 30 day return window if i needed a type c charging solution as a possible exchange option. I will not be in need of that. The connector is a bit loose fitting as a note though i assume this aspect is subjective from device to device. I like that it has multiple tips for my families laptops as well so its just a "spare charger"/emergency charger as it is...i may just keep it at work so i dont have to bring my charger around. Great works build quality is up to my standards and comes with a 1 yr warranty what more is there to ask. Overall a 5* product i found my OEM charger for around this price but theres no telling how long that would take to ship vs my same day needs i was able to find a local BB with it in stock. Would buy again if i had to or needed to.

We have a 65w Universal power supply for another laptop, tried it on his and it would only provide enough power to chafrge up when the laptop was off. This one (180w) charges his laptop perfectly! He can play his games and his laptop charges better than the OEM AC pack. Perfect for gaming laptops that need new chargers!

It is compatible, but it did not seem like it at first. Both the #20 and #16 tips appear to fit, but I originally used the wrong tip, and the computer gave me an error message and said the adapter is not compatible and you need to use one with 130W. The computer ran off the adapter, but the battery did not charge. I was about to return the adapter, but looked up the correct tip at http://bbyurl.us/tipfinder and realized I was using the wrong tip. Now it works great and the battery is charging.

Only complaint is that on my Dell XPS laptop, I keep getting a notification saying that the power adapter attached to my system is not recognized and to use a power bank that can supply at least 130 watts. This bank is advertised as 180 watts. Eventually, the messages go away, so I think the charger just takes a few minutes to really "boot up," but its very odd. Haven't encountered this issue with a charger before. But, at the end of the day, it does work, so I can't complain too much I definitely wouldn't recommend this for the price tag though. almost $100 for this thing is a bit unnecessary
