This item is not universal for DELL, as I found out the hard way. Even though the computer sales staff looked up my account and confirmed my DELL Inspiron, they all insisted a universal charger would work on a DELL – WRONG! When I returned it, Revin told me DELL uses proprietary connections for their DELL computers, and I’d need to contact them directly – also WRONG. I later discovered that the C-Connector for new Apple phones works perfectly, as long as I use Apple’s connector with direct AC power or a large battery wall charger – WORKS. 1. No need for a DELL C-Connector; it fits and works perfectly. 2. Always get a second opinion, as this was the second-floor support tech error, where supervisors and their teams lacked technical knowledge. 3. The return policy is seamless. Overall, it’s clear why Best Buy is closing its stores and shifting to an online model—to reduce errors and improve customer relations. I’ll still be a customer, though I’m figuring out how to navigate this new world of an uninformed workforce.

My laptop only sparatically worked for about 2 weeks after the purchase if the charger. Since the charger was universal, I feel it may not have been the best recommendation. A charger specifically manufactured for the HP laptop probably would have been better. In addition, Best Buy policy only gives 14 days for a return, which is not enough time to determine if the purchased item is adequate

Bought this for my husband’s computer after his cord got frayed and didn’t work anymore. It seems to do the job, but he has since broken the computer further so it’s kind of a moot point, but it did work.

My son needed a new charger in a pinch at college. We were able to find this at the local Best Buy to purchase and pick up immediately. It fits his Lenova Yoga laptop and charges as quickly as the original charger that came with the computer. The added flexibility to be able to use it for other devices he owns is a bonus.

It was annoying having to look for the right charger for my laptop. So when I saw this as an option, I immediately bought it. This charger works like a charm! It has not failed me so far, and i can see that it will last for a good amount of time!

Away at relatives for the holidays with my laptop and forgot my charger. This did the trick as there are so many options to fit any laptop.

This adapter worked very well and is just as described. I can always rely on Best Buy to never give me a bad product and will always come back to them for future purchases! I highly recommend this to anyone.

This was the second replacement adapter I’ve bought but by far the best the way the end is shaped for our laptop it’s easily to break off into the laptop as ours did &the way this adapter is built to attach if it comes apart u can just snap it back on &it charges really well I definitely recommend!
