That was a bit disappointing. I kept it anyway because it is still something useful to have around, and I got a discount for it being an open box; however, pretty sure they are supposed to check for stuff like that.

Got the run around

This doesn't come with USB-C adapter. I emailed the mfr. and provided receipt but got the runaround with a lot of silly questions so I gave up.

Does not work with HP laptops

It will immediately pop up and recommend that you get an HP official charger. There are no settings to change this on an HP laptop. I tried every trick in the book -- even down to going to the BIOS to try and change battery settings. It will not work.
