I purchased this charger because I NEEDED it, not because I wanted to sit and look at it while I waited for a tip to be shipped. Will be returning.

The tech refused stated it was only a problem with the power cord. Turned out it was not the power cord. It was the battery and the connection from the computer to the cord. So this did not fix my problem. I had to order a battery from Dell on my own and install it on my own. So Geek Squad service was not helpful.

I eventually had to order the OEM charge for that laptop which solved the problem.

It will immediately pop up and recommend that you get an HP official charger. There are no settings to change this on an HP laptop. I tried every trick in the book -- even down to going to the BIOS to try and change battery settings. It will not work.

Got the run around

This doesn't come with USB-C adapter. I emailed the mfr. and provided receipt but got the runaround with a lot of silly questions so I gave up.
