This worked for the initial charge but then failed to work again. I tried every different connector, made sure the cord was plugged into the socket, and tried different outlets when I return home. Would have returned it except someone else would have bought it and been disappointed.

He sold me a universal charger, with about 10 heads, the one he fitted did not really fit, it did charge. I have ordered the correct single use charger , not from Besrt Buy, and when it arrives I will return the charger to best Buy. I do not think I will have a problem, even though I do not have the receipt. The staff there are always so good and helpful.

First, you have to match the color coding to figure out which to use. More importantly, though, the tip does not stay connected to the end and I have to rejoin it every day or two. Much to often!! In the future, I will not buy one with swappable tips again -- I'll stick to the one piece. Wish I had made a better choice this time as it was not inexpensive.

Thus, the computer reverts to a low power mode and stays that way.

Maybe they are made for older models of laptops. Could not return them because I found out Best Buy only has a 15 day return policy, which I think is rather short. I am going to donate them to Goodwill.

It didn't work appropriately, the computer recurrently said it wasn't compatible and didn't fully charge or retain the charge. I contacted Dell and discovered they have a replacement cord that actually costs less than this. Not what I usually expect from Best Buy.
