The package says we gaurantee it will fit you lap top or we will send you the correct tip. It does not have a very common USB tip. I callled the hot line and was told it does not support USB.

Also I have a old IBM Thinkpad and none of the default plugs provided fit into the laptop. Wont recommend if you are planning to use outside USA

DON"T BUY> DOESN"T WORK, BROKE MY CHARGING CIRCUIT

I was told this "universal" charger may have broken my charging circuit. Now I have to take it into shop to have it evaluated!! how much will it cost, not sure yet. But when I called 800 # they said they would find the right attachment and mail to me and email me. I HAVE NOT REC"D ANYTHING YET and the window return is over. THANKS ALOT BEST BUY!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.works for about 5 months. i’ve bought 3 of these chargers in the past year and a half. the charger ends up loosing connection but still usable until the metal part gives up and just disconnects completely. wouldn’t waste your money unless you need a quick fix for a small amount of time.

Didn’t work for Dell latitude

I purchased this cord after discovering I didn't have my own charger on a trip. The idea of interchangeable charging tips sounded cool. After leaving my laptop charging for several hours, it was only at 27%. I left it overnight and when I woke up: 86%. I use this as a spare in the office and I don't expect much from it. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge my device with the charger that came with it. Not sure why, but this one is a dud.
