I bought this for a friend who needed a replacement charger for her Dell laptop. It works well but doesn't fit as snug as the original which isn't surprising. The multiple adaptors are nice for being able to use with various devices.

This is a great unit to have as an extra plug. It seems like whenever I go somewhere that I have left my adapter at the office...this is great to have to keep in the computer bag when you travel. It is great in that it has a variety of adapters to fit into just about any computer. I would recommend picking one up! It is worth the price!

I was on vacation when my power supply went out on my laptop, I went into the nearest Best Buy to purchase a new one, the associate showed this particular one to me. This adapter came with 6 different tips, so it's working great with my laptop and also has the capability to work on other electronics I may purchase. The price was also great.

This was worth buying especially that it was universal. My Lenovo laptap has a specific ending and this product had it. I went to three other stores that were closer to my house with no luck. I was going to buy a cord through Lenovo, but it was an outrageous price. Best Buy had a great price.

I bought this unit as a replacement for my Dell laptop. I lost the cord of the original PS and needed a new unit. This unit has enough power to replace the original, it comes with enough terminals to connect to multiple brands. The PS was very easy to use and it is a perfect replacement.

Great universal charger. We have 3 different laptops at home from the school for the children. An these chargers are great for all of them. I love how you can switch ports. This thing really comes in handy

Im so glad they make these universal chargers because i had lost my charger for a Dell laptop and couldnt find it ANYWHERE so this solved my problem! And it works great!

The charger is comparable with other similar chargers from other manufacturers. The variety of computer plugs is a good feature, and makes it quite "universal". The only negative is that it does not have a separate, pluggable AC cord, as most others do. Some of us find this to be a convenient feature.

I needed a new power plug for my laptop in a hurry, and this works fine. It was also cheaper than the factory replacement, which was a bonus. Only downside is it's easy to lose the other adaptor tips - not an issue for me, but if you happen to need more than one it could be a problem.

My original computer power cord broke and I could not get another original one anywhere. I went to Best Buy and I bought the Insignia Laptop Power Adapter and it has been working great. This power cord was very inexpensive and came with several different connectors to use in a wide variety of computers. I recommend this product.

Having misplaced my AC charger for my Dell laptop, I needed a substitute to take with me on a road trip. This product, which produces the voltage and current necessary for most laptops, comes with tips that fit the power sockets of lots of computers. It worked for me just as well as the original that came with my machine.

This product works great. I left my charger at home and was in a bind to get another one. It was expensive so I hesitated but really needed it so I got. Hoping it the multiple adapters will come in handy down the road.

Loving having this as I can use on different computers if I am on the road

I was in training 30+ miles from home and the office, and 2 hours into the class my laptop let me know my battery was getting low. I reached into my backpack to get my power cord and my stomach dropped as I realized I had left the cord at home. There was still 6 hours of training left and my laptop wasn’t going to last more than 30 minutes. I asked the other guys taking the class if they could help, but nobody was using a laptop that had a compatible power cord. Sigh... If I conserved power, I figured I could make it through to the lunch break. Then I could either race back home and grab my power cable and hope to get back to class before the afternoon session started, or try to find a solution close by. A quick internet search showed my options of getting the exact power cord I needed from amazon (2 day delivery), or getting a significantly more versatile power adapter for a significantly higher price from Best Buy. I was frustrated by the higher price tag, but if I wanted to get anything out of my training in the afternoon session I really had no choice. There was a Best Buy relatively close to where my class was being held, so I made it there and back in plenty of time. I opened the package and was surprised at all of the tips included. I recognized the one I needed for my laptop and connected it to the end of the output cable. If fit snugly, and after plugging it in to the wall and my laptop I was happy to see the “charging” indicator pop up on the battery icon in my computer’s system tray. I was back in business! I had a little time before class resumed so I took the opportunity to read the documentation that came with power cable. I was curious to see why this adapter was more expensive than I’d expected. First, it can put out 90 watts of power. My Lenovo uses less than a third of that, so this thing can juice up even the beefiest of rigs. Second, it has built in over-voltage, over-temperature, and short circuit protection. No need for a power strip or other buffer. Third, it can be used anywhere in the world without a voltage converter. When traveling abroad, this is really handy. Lastly, and most awesome, is the tip selection. The model I purchased came with 6 different tips. These 6 alone work for a TON of computers. But if one of these doesn’t work with your system, there is a “Tip Wizard” (http://bbyurl.us/tipfinder) where you can search for your specific device and find a tip that will work for you, and they will give it to you for FREE! Long story short, this is a great adapter. I’ve been using it for a couple months now, and have had no issues, but what prompted me to write this review was what happened today. I needed to get some files off of my old laptop earlier today, and it was deader than a doornail. I didn’t know where my old power cord was so I checked the tips that came with my new adapter. Sure enough, there was a match. I popped off one tip and put on the new one. Plugged it in to my old laptop, and it powered right up. How’s that for ultimate flexibility?!?
