Only reason I gave this 4 stars is due to the fact that the block is all one piece, it doesn't come apart at all.

I have a bunch of random laptops, so I needed a universal laptop charger for them. There are plenty of tips so each brand is covered. The AC plug is attached to the base, which could be a negative, but it was long enough and it prevents you from losing that part, so it makes sense. There's a medium brightness LED to indicate it is receiving power. The only con I can think of is that it does not have rubber feet on the bottom of the power brick to keep it from moving around on the floor.

Was traveling and left my work charger at home. This was a great price, and worked just fine with my laptop.

Needed to purchase last minute when out of town for a business trip and realized I forgot my charger. Worked great!

The power cable connection to my laptop wasn't working, causing the laptop to lose power. Took the laptop to Best Buy "Geek Squad", who related that the laptop connection port was bad. As it is attached to the computer hard drive, it would cost more to replace the hard drive than to purchase a new computer. That said, they used one of their multi-cords to power my laptop up. It actually worked, wherein my power cable wouldn't. I purchased the multi-size/style power cord and it is still working, keeping me, at least for the moment, from having to purchase a new laptop.

My computer been collecting dust for almost 2 years since it would not charge with the charger I had purchased. Finally I decided to take it to Geek Squad again to truly figure out what was wrong with it (had been previiusly told it was the charging port), fearing the worst. After the tech looked at it, he suggested trying a straight connector instead of the 90° one I had, low and behold, it started charging. While I can not use my computer, I will have to have it looked at at aome point, but at least I can use it.
