There are plenty of tips so each brand is covered. The AC plug is attached to the base, which could be a negative, but it was long enough and it prevents you from losing that part, so it makes sense. There's a medium brightness LED to indicate it is receiving power. The only con I can think of is that it does not have rubber feet on the bottom of the power brick to keep it from moving around on the floor.

I wish I had gone ahead and purchased the actual HP one as now I get a popup on my computer letting me know this isn't quite the real deal enough. But it works and has a lot of different tips so it can be used by others in an emergency as well.
