Needed a new power adapter for my Dell laptop, went to my local Best Buy store because I know they always sell the best products for items originally purchased there. I had originally purchased my laptop at Best Buy so I figured they would have the power adapter as well. Was shown by an associate where the adapters were located in the store, there was 5 different power adapters. I chose this one - The Insignia™ NS-PWLC591 , because even the packaging stated guaranteed compatibility for certain laptops, including: Acer, Asus, Averatec, Compaq, Dell, E-Machines, Fujitsu, Gateway, HP, HP/Compaq, Lenovo, Samsung, Sony or Toshiba laptop, because it has 6 tips for the various power adapters for charging. Great product, would recommend to others.

Works well and was easy to understand its setup. I was surprised to see that the charger can be used on many of my devices, meaning that I will generally always have a backup charger if one goes bad.

Have had poor luck with these "multi-charger" type units. However, this one has worked beautifully and oddly, gets less hot during the process than regular charger that came with the computer. Very happy with this purchase.

I was looking for another charger for my Lenovo Yoga laptop. This insignia brand does the job at a decent prices too! It also can charge my other laptops if I needed it.

Great power supply for a great price that was adaptable to various laptops. What's great is that it may adapt to other laptops we have in the house without buying one specific to this laptop.

This Insignia laptop adapter worked perfectly for my older Compaq laptop. Nice to know that it will work on numerous other makes and models of laptops when I upgrade in the future. Always good to have an extra adapter.

This charger is worth every dime! I was out of town on a work trip and forgot my charger. Before landing this jewel, I previously purchased 2 different universal chargers from Wal….rt that did absolutely nothing for my HP Elite Book. 3rd time was a charm! It worked perfectly & an added bonus, Best Buy had this Universal Charger at a very affordable price.

I have two of these because they are so versatile. With so many adapters I can use it to charge all my laptops.

My laptop power brick died recently and a replacement from the manufacturer was extremely expensive and would have taken a couple of weeks to arrive. The good thing about this universal power adapter is that it fit my laptop. The bad thing is that it did not supply enough wattage required by my laptop as it is a gaming laptop (90W vs. 120W needed). I was hoping I could get by for everyday use as I no longer use my laptop for gaming, but it gave some weird error stating my batteries were corrupted (which they are not) when using this adapter, so I had to return it. However, for any non-gaming laptop 90W is plenty of power and will work just fine. That's why I still recommend this universal adapter as an excellent replacement that is not too pricey.

Nice addition to my travel bag. Can connect to different devices with the adapters. Recommend this if you travel.

Everyone in my family has a laptop, and from different manufacturers. This adapter is used by all of us. The connector optios simply cannot be beat. This is half the price of the other name-brand adapters and works as well.

Easy to put together. Does the job. Doesnt cost too much. Would have preferred to have the plug head straight instead of angled. Doesnt seem quite as secure as the original, but it works

I use this charger as my travel charger with my laptop. It has worked for me and other people that have different chargers not any problems whatsoever it works great.
