Eg, It will power certain Dell laptops, but the laptop does not recognize the charger and the battery does not charge. Pretty useless in that regard. But again, it may work very well with products other than the ones I used it with.

However, I thought the product was rather large. If you were hoping to have a second charger to leave at home or work, it's fine. But if you were looking for something light for traveling, this is not it.
