I paid almost $60 for a universal charger packet. It was way too expensive, but at least Best Buy had it in stock. It is too bad that the Geek Squad member did not know there was a universal attachments for a computer plug like this. I thought that was crazy considering they service computers.

So glad Best Buy had this "generic" type adapter to go with a recent laptop purchase. The original adapter was accidentally thrown out and this was a lifesaver as the laptop was "dying" & very much needed to complete a resume for a job. Thanks Best Buy! You came thru in a crunch!

Great charger... when I thought it was my computer that was not work... realized it was just the charger... this universal laptop charger was a life saver.

I think this is a decent product, but it wasn't exactly what I needed when I had to find a replacement adapter for charging my laptop. It comes with a limited variety of plug fittings, but unfortunately the one that fit my Asus did not fit in terms of length, so the connection was ill-fitting and I had to hold it in place so the battery could charge. Not an ideal solution. So even though the product was okay, its "Universality" isn't quite as advertised. My recommendation: if you can, ask a Best Buy associate to help you make sure the adapter plug is a perfect fit for your machine in all respects, diameter and length, or the pins in your machine can be damaged by a halfway-fitting plug.

Not a bad generic replacement. The connector that plugs into the laptop specific tip is strong and holds well. The only minor negative is cord from the converter is a little shorter than I would like.

The computer charger for my computer is quite efficient because it can be used for several computers.

This was a wonderful part because it just didn't work on one kind of computer but the spot where it was to be plugged in was broken and a new adapter didn't help so I returned it to the store. If I ever need a new adaptor or know someone who does, this is our answer.

Great Charger, with flexible heads. My computer is relatively old but the new charger still functions.

I love this!!! It will work for many different computers. Its convienient for when you have multiple computers or go on the road like i do and have to do business and lose or forget your power cord. I definately recomend this to anyone looking for it.

Took my computer to Best Buy to see if they could quickly tell me if the problem was the charger cord or the computer battery. The guy checked and found it was the charger cord. Showed me exactly where they were located in the store. I purchased a new one and was on my way! Problem solved!

Lost the charger to my laptop, this is a good substitute. I'm happy it came with multiple tips now I can charge most of my stuff with one charge. The only this is the I tips are small and easily lost but other than that work perfectly.

Didn’t work to charge the battery of my dell laptop. It powered it up just wouldn’t charge the battery. I bought an original dell adapter that did work so I returned this one

My disabled son needed a new charger for his Dell laptop which I had purchased from Best Buy. The clerk assured me the universal charger would work on any Dell laptop (even I knew that wasn't true). I brought the old charger with me to show the clerk but he couldn't be bothered. I paid the $64. Long story short...none of the plugs worked. My son went on Amazon and found the charger he needed for $12. I returned the universal charger the next day and mentioned to the service desk about rude sales clerk who sold me the charger. They didn't care. End of story.

I travel a lot and I lost two chargers. My computer and tablet died and I finally tried the Best Buy in my community. I found this wonderful charger with multiple tips which allows me to use the charger with multiple devices for and others. It's terrific!

The product delivers as promised: a power adapter with multiple tips to fit any brand. Sadly, even though one of the tips did fit my brand (ASUS) with the connection prong radius, it did not fit the jack in terms of a matching length or circumference....essentially it was too long & narrow to snugly fit. Resulting in continuous fails to properly connect, I sometimes have to physically hold it in place to keep the connection. This is not the fault of the product....but I would caution anyone who needs to replace their original manufacturer's adapter with a "universal" one...just because the tip is the correct size, it still may not be compatible with the particular design of your machine.

It worked on my Dell Vostro. Plenty of different types of connectors for other laptop models
