It has different set of inlets to different charger. My original charger out of my lenovo laptop was damaged and this one worked both for lenovo and Dell. It was occasionally used for HP laptop as well. This is a high quality stuff. Best buy has it. I love Best buy.

I had purchased a multi-tip adapter cord at a different store, & was disappointed to find that none of the tips fit my computer. This time, I brought my own cord to "Best Buy," & the salesman helped me determine that this adapter would, in fact, fill my need. I was also pleased to find that there was also a tip that worked in my best friend's laptop, so when she comes over to work on genealogy with me, she wouldn't have to bring her cord with her. (*v*)

It goes in the charging port but it doesn't seem to be very tight. It comes out very easily. I have a Toshiba. Other then this the charger works great. My batteries don't hold a charge anymore and it works as a great power source.

I work remotely and so I'm constantly traveling. The additional charger heads made it easy for me to share my charger with my traveling friends when they forget their chargers.
