Found out Dell chargers have a sensor to recognize it. It has several other tips for charging but the tips don't match anything I have. Not much use for it now. It probably would benefit someone with matching connections

wrong adaptor with a happy ending

I had to return it and was refunded and compensated by Best BUY . There was a bright side to it. Thank you Felicia who was the attendant at the shop and thank you Gina at the customer service for resolving the problem elegantly. Happy New Year to y'all
