My mom needed to charge her laptop while she was visiting me and she picked this up from Best Buy and it worked perfect. They even let me try it on my laptop to make sure it worked.

Short term answer to power needs

Deadline looming, I turned to BB and found this item purchased it and returned home before her battery died. I'm a hero and now have a good general purpose power supply for other portable devices. Sorry BB, I took the credit, but we know who the real hero is. :)
