It charged my laptop to 100% without fail. That charger overheated and frayed 2 of the wire that connect to the base. I bought this charger, not being able to find a replacement for my HP charger. My laptop has not charged to 100% ever again. The most I have gotten is 83%. I am almost tempted to buy another laptop just for a good charger again.
