Not so. If you have to research and then send away for the adapter to make it work with your computer. The first time we did this, they sent us the wrong part. Requested one for her dell, but they sent us an apple adapter tip. second time we got the appropriate tip, but it would not charge the computer. took the whole thing back. buy the adapter from the computer manf. worth the price and time.
