Doesn't Fit Every Laptop

The box says it is a lock to fit any laptop. My son has a Dell and this power adapter did not work with his laptop. Not compatible. The product appears to be quality made and I am sure it is a fine power adapter. But because it said it will work with any and it did not I have to give it only 2 stars.

After doing some reading, Dell has a special chip in its chargers that will allow the laptop to charge. All this did was maintain the charge I had going into it and give me error messages when I would restart my computer

The laptop requires a 90w charger which is what this universal charger advertises. After getting it home and trying it out, nothing. The charging light lit up and began flashing. The computer would not power on at all. Once I got a different replacement charger everything began working fine.

It will power the laptop, but not charge the battery, effectively making it a lightweight but extremely underpowered desktop tower.

So when I came across this universal laptop charging cord, I thought I’d give it a try. This charger comes with several ends that you can match up to the one that fit your own laptop. The description gave the compatible brands and model numbers of laptops to use which included the one my daughter owned. But, when I purchased it at our Best Buy, none of the end tips fit our Lenova laptop! I was frustrated and unfortunately had to return it to Best Buy. Their friendly customer service gladly accepted my return.
