There was a number to call for additional tips. I called and was told that they did not have a tip that would work and that I should return the unit, which I did. They also said that they did not have another adapter that would work. Ordered one on Ebay. The unit had same ratings, tip did fit, but got an message saying that it was not a Dell charger and would not work, and it didn't either.

The connection fit fine and it initially started charging the laptop battery. After a minute the battery stopped charging. It was providing enough power to keep the laptop from dying but not recharging. That wasn't the worst part though; while plugged in the laptop performance was terrible. Microsoft outlook and other applications were incredibly laggy. I returned it and bought a genuine HP which works perfectly.

I ran through Best Buy, Rochester, MN after work and asked what would be compatible. The gal working told me this would work. WRONG!!! He was not able to charge his computer, so it was a total waste of time and money. I will likely stick with Best Buy in LaCrosse, WI - they have excellent, friendly, knowledgable staff and have never steered me wrong.

The did have an Insignia product with one cord and seven different interchangeable heads. I bought it and none of them worked. Lenovo had no way of speaking to a person. Why do they have to have so many connectors? I could not tell if Walmart or Amazon chargers would work. Not enough info. Disappointed!

Did not work with my computer

I used the link in the product insert to order the correct adapter for my computer (for free). When the adapter arrived, it fit my computer but did not fit the Insignia adapter. I was still unable to use it, so I returned the insignia adapter and the additional dell adapter to Best Buy without a problem.

This is the second time we dealt with this man and both times we had a really bad time. We are 86 miles from store and had to make several trips to rectify the problem. Finally went to Office Supply and had no problems what so ever.
