There are a variety of options, for different models of laptops, but I think it would be of greater value to offer 5 varieties of 1 models, to greater my chances to find a compatible attachment.

The plug did not insert completely and after charging for several hours my computer was not charged. By the way, I brought my laptop (Asus} into the store when I purchased this to make sure I got the appropriate charger for my brand of laptop.

AC Laptop Power Adapter Failed to Perform

It provides power to the laptop does not charge the battery. My laptop warns me that the adapter is not compatible. I ended up purchasing a replacement chord from Dell which is working just fine.

It stopped working over a week ago and they told me I couldnt do exchange because they only have two weeks policy on this? I dont think I will ever go to best buy again after that. I didnt want to return I just wanted exchange because after two weeks it quit charging my computer.

The employee said most certainly then proceeded to grab a random dell from the self. Plug fit, he said they are all the same. Went on vacation came back tried the plug and did not fit, past the thirty days could not return. Take your laptop with you and check.

The sales associate tested on a floor model EXACTLY like the one we were purchasing it for, but when we got it home the jack would not fit our computer. It was returned the following day. I'm only reviewing this because you are insistent. The product is not the problem. It was not fit for the purpose.
