Although it's costly, the great part about this package is it provides multiple connector sizes. When I eventually replace my current laptop, I plan to use the universal adapter as backup. If I didn't already have a warranty, I would've have price-shopped, but it does the job well.

My charger had died and I needed a new one ASAP. This was available in store and had the correct tip for my ASUS Republic of Gamers laptop. It worked like a charm, until I actually tried to play any games. While plugged in and in-game, the charger constantly disconnected and would reconnect every 5 seconds; this would cause my game to lag (even though I had excellent internet connection and even reduced all the games graphics), my screen to flash, and would cause my laptop to not charge and deplete my battery. I looked online as to why all this was happening and found out that the charger simply wasn't producing enough power for my laptop to use while gaming. I had even brought in my old charger to get all of the specs needed to make sure it would work, clearly the employee (super nice, don't get me wrong) didn't check everything or thought that because it had the correct tip, that it would be okay. While yes, it did work and did fit, it doesn't suit Republic of Gamers laptops or any gaming laptops that use much more power than regular laptops. I am getting a refund for this since I found a better charger; however, I would recommend this for people who need a replacement charger for regular laptops; just make sure it has the correct tip before buying (bring your charger in!)

I purchased this charger in a pinch and honestly don't recommend for the cost. It lasted 6 months before malfunctioning (& stopped working soon after). I ordered a similar $20 one this time on Amazon of similar quality (so far)

I was in need of a new power supply for my son's laptop. The staff at the Best But in Weat Hartford, CT knew exactly what I needed and helped me quickly and efficiently. The power supply works very well and is still being used.

did not fit my computer, I HAVE A TELEKIN COMPUTER FOR SENIOR CITIZENS...

The package says “guaranteed to work”. The Best Buy employee said this will work with my Lenovo laptop. Plugged it in, immediately got message saying incorrect power adapter. Called Insignia, they said “Oh, we need to send you the right tip - an M15 tip. It will be seven to ten days”. What a joke!! AND the guy at insignia says “the M15 tip is included with a different adapter”. I said “can you tell me what adapter that is so I can see if Best Buy has it in stock before I waste yet another trip?” “No sir, I’m sorry I can’t tell you that”. WHAT!!! This is a 90W charger. I found out on my own the M15 tip is part of a 185W charger. I bet that just changing the tip will do nothing. The laptop requires more wattage, and a tip won’t solve that problem. Insignia and Best Buy should be ashamed of themselves for the way this is packaged and labeled and the fact their useless rep wouldn’t even tell me what I really needed. It IS NOT compatible with all Lenovo laptops. So now I have to drive another 1.5 hr round trip to exchange it. Thanks Best Buy. Thanks Insignia. You’re awesome. I can’t wait for them to tell me tomorrow they won’t accept my return because the seal is broken.

Simple inexpensive solution for charging different types or brands of laptops. This charger comes with a variety of interchangeable plug in adapters.

this seems to be well made however we couldn't use it for its intended purpose. kept it because it will work with every other laptop in the home.

My laptop was unable to charge up. I tried everything, but thought maybe it could be the cable - "nah, those don't go bad!" Well they do! A simple quick fix & up & running..

I've bought this product twice now and each time fails after a year or less. EVERY time I use my lap top it's not charged. When I use my lap top while its plugged in my screen flashes battery mode, ac mode battery mode ac mode the whole time I use it. As a result the plug over heats, I cant refresh or hit the back arrow or do anything that is in the left upper corner of my computer! I should not need to buy a cord every year for a laptop that doesn't leave the house or a charger that doesn't get pulled or pinched or damaged in any way. I've made sure all parts of the cord are snug and where they need to be. So its not an issue of loss ends or not plugged in all the way and my computer has been professionally so its not the computer. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH PRODUCT!! DO NOT BUY unless you are ok with throwing away about $50.00 EVERY year or less

My son misplaced his charger for his laptop, so rather than paying for an overpriced replacement from the manufacturer, we decided to try this (and it's worked awesomely!).

Insignia is a super great laptop charger. I definitely recommend this product.

This adapter was very useful and safe to use on both my Toshiba and Lenovo Laptop. Very safe charge that won't overheat and damage your device.
