Whenever I put the tablet in the way it was intended, it would not power on unless the tab was separated from the back plate. Two Best Buy Employees and one Geek Squad employee confirmed the problem. There are magnets in the back support, that shut the device down. It is intended to shut the device down when you close the covers, but the magnets are in a bad place.
