Someone in Return may have stoled my item I return

My accout says make sure I return by requested date. It was returned in the same box and the item I did receive credit for. I believe This is a way for the store to make money on customers. They claim it was not in the box and it was. I can't get a human to help me. FRAUD all the way. Someone may have stole my item.
