It also kept his phone dry because he can clip it onto a belt under a jacket or coat and very little of the phone is exposed.

It seems like it is built well but I had to return it because it was a bit too small. I would have been able to hold my old Samsung Note 20 Ultra.

Case is well made and does clip securely to the belt. The cell phone did not have a protective back cover on it at the time, and fit easily into the case. Once the protective back cover was added to the cell phone, the case doesn't expand wide enough to easily put the phone in, and getting the phone out is very hard, so the case has been put aside. Suggest that if you buy this, you first make sure that your cell phone has a protective back cover on it, as that slight change of width of the phone may make this case very hard to use.

The actual case and clip are two separate pieces, so when the material stretched too much from the strain of being pulled at to put the phone in and pull it out, causing the clip to be pulled through the fabric. Still, it was a decent item that could fit a couple phones, including his work phone, which was an iPhone, and the one we bought alongside of this one, which was a Motorola, and both had cases as well.
