Useful LED

It has a cold shoe adapter on the base but I would not recommend placing this on the camera if you want high quality video. It is extremely light weight and does not heat up so its very easy to move and hand hold to give a much needed fill light. This is not really bright enough for a key light but I like to tape some frosted gels to the body to soften the light a bit. 4 AA batteries is really nice and the ability to dim the brightness with a rotary knob is extremely useful. Also its is very small and I find it easy to hide in the environment to get the light close to the subject when another light would stand out.

Its PERFECT for any type of photograhy. great resonable price, easy to use, and easy to attach to your camera! Great using this for music videos! I would recommend anyone to buy this! GREAT FIND!!!!

Great, Bright Video Lights

I have both of them on mini tripods I got from Best Buy and they light my desk extremely well. They give off a very pure white light, and aren't too direct. Definitely would buy again.

Great For Filming At Night

No overvoltage protection, instant failure

When I went to connect this to an external battery bank I must have selected the 12V output. For an product sold in the USA this is completely unacceptable. The chip to fix this problem is maybe 1/50 the current list price. The description is misleading: there's no hot-shoe power input. It should say "unpowered hot/cold-shoe mount".
